James Handley - Guidance Counselor; Supervisor of Living Learning Community.

Graduate of California University of PA. with a Degree in Mathematics; Masters Degree in Guidance. Retired from public schools after 35 years as teacher and counselor. Currently serves as a member of his local school district’s Board of Directors. Married with three grown children and a granddaughter who is the “apple of his eye.”

Gay Thistle - Science

Bachelor and Master’s Degrees in Science with previous teaching experience in private educational programs. Involved in conservation and all aspects of science and nature. Husband is a forester and she has two sons, one in college the other in high school.

Ryan Crouse - Social Studies

Bachelor and Master’s degrees from California University of PA. Married with a son and a daughter. RWA Basketball coach.

Janice Baily - Mathematics

Degree in mathematics with 6 years previous teaching experience. Married with grown children. Active in her church.

David Marek - English

Degree in English. Married with a young son. Active in his church and member of contemporary Christian music group. Also teacher guitar at RWA.

James Winegar - Art

Degree in art education K-12 and previous teaching experience in Massachusetts . Married with a grown daughter. He and his wife Linda are very active in local arts programs as well as being involved with the local, state and national Odyssey of the Mind program. Jim and Linda have a professional pottery studio.
